We remind you that the entrance ticket allows you to go in and out of the museum as much as you want during the day.
Please note that some rooms in the museum may occasionally remain closed.
To guarantee the protection of the works of art and to give to everyone the opportunity of a full enjoyment of the visit to the museum, and given the large crowds of visitors, in the special days of free admission and the first Sunday of every month the access to organized groups of visit is not recommanded.

take Tangential Route, Capodimonte exit
– from Naples Central Station:

It’s possible to purchase bus/subway tickets at a newsstand, tobacconists or at the vending machines in the subway stations.
The Museo di Capodimonte is also one of the stops of the Citysightseeing bus line A
The Museo di Capodimonte is open every day (except on Saturday and Sunday) from 8.30 am to 7.30 pm.
Last admission to the museum is at 6.30 pm. The galleries begin to close from 7 pm.
The Museo di Capodimonte is closed: every Saturday and Sunday, the 1st of January and 25th of December.
On 24th of December and on the 31th, the museum will be opened to the public during the following hours: 8.30am-2pm.
The ticket office will close one hour before the closure.
The Bosco di Capodimonte is closed Easter Monday

The 19th century galleries (intermediate floor) open on Sunday morning from 10.00 am to 2.00 pm, except for the free-entry first sunday of each month, by reservation only by email at the following address:

The ticket is valid all day with unlimited exit and re-entry until closing time.
